Propaganda is wonderful story…I think it draws a fitting end to the main charcters….almost a fable of sorts….

Propaganda is an amazing story from the most frost-bitten days of the Cold War!
This story was re-made in an issue of (I think) “Uncanny Tales”. The title and ending were identical to the Kirby-story, but the plot was a bit altered. Also, in that story, the Statue Gods weren't statues at all, but rather some sort of mythological creatures or gods summoned by the chanting of the medicine-man.
