Channel X
History: Warriors from Pluto came to Earth to test a device which could hypnotize humans to be their slaves. The device, which resembled a television set, was given to a married couple by “Mr. Jordan”. When the couple turned on the TV, the only received transmission was from “Channel X”. The screen displayed a hypnotic pattern that mesmerized the man and wife as the Plutonians told them of their plans for conquest. When the couple's landlord disconnected the TV antenna, the hypnotic spell was ended. The man destroyed the TV, and the Plutonians abandoned their plans and left Earth.
Height: 5 ft. 2 in.
Demonstrated Powers: The Plutonians demonstrated no special powers.
Equipment: Flying saucer
Hypnotic television receivers
Comment: “Mr. Jordan” should not be confused with the Mister Jordan of “I Don't Believe In…Ghosts!”, nor with the Mr. Jordan who stole The Black Clock in Journey Into Mystery # 67.
Comment: One of Rob Zombie's songs is entitled What Lurks On Channel X?. Coincidence?
Comment: There is no apparent connection between “Channel X” and “The X-Men”.

…just who would inker “Christopher Rule” be? I wonder if it is Don Heck or possibly Chic Stone….
............. Vince Argondezzi :: 14 March 2006
Christophe Rule was a very real person who was described as an older gentleman who looked like Santa Claus. He both penciled and inkied many girl/teen titles for Timely/Atlas and did his share of inking over Kirby and others until the early 1960s.

Re: Christopher Rule..Thanks, I thought the lines looked somewhat different from Mr. Stone's, and I knew Don Heck was a wild shot, but Mr. Rule certainly lent a lot to Jack's pencils.
