Elias Cragston
History: The ugly genius Elias Cragston was rejected by the world because of his misshapen features. After being spurned by a beautiful woman working at the lab, Cragston became embittered against all humanity and devoted his time and energy into building a Cobalt Bomb which could destroy the world. Hijacking a missle, Cragston planned to release the Cobalt Bomb while he was safely aboard in orbit. When the missle flew into the path of the bomb, Cragston was destroyed in the resultant explosion, leaving the Earth unharmed.
Height: 5 ft. 4 in.
Demonstrated Powers: Elias Cragston was an ordinary human being with a genius-level intellect.
Equipment: Cobalt Bomb - supposedly with enough explosive power to destroy the Earth, yet small enough to carry.

Thes was plainly a proto-mole man. A villain, but one with a reason that we can understand. The vision of Elias looking from the missile, at the shattered earth and saying Gotcha, is a real mean mental image. And the actual end was perfect!
