Frank Coventry
History: In the year 2389, space pilot Frank Coventry was sent on a 6-month space flight aboard an X-700 spaceship which was capable of attaining faster-than-light speeds. Upon returning to Earth, Coventry found that while only 6 months of time had passed for him, 50 years had passed by on Earth. Finding his former girlfriend now an elderly woman, Coventry realized he could never take a wife while being a space explorer.
Height: 6 ft. 2 in.
Demonstrated Powers: Frank Coventry was an ordinary human astronaut whose aging process had been slowed due to the effects of his space-travel at hyper-light speeds. Einstein’s Theory of Relativity theorizes that time dialates and passes at a slower rate for space-travellers travelling at near-light speeds.

The Jack Kirby Checklist 1998 Final Edition (TwoMorrows, Blue Rose Press) says that “I Fly to the Stars” (Strange Worlds #3) was reprinted in Strange Tales Annual #2. But I’m still glad it’s posted here.
