Meet... the Monster!

Inspector Koraz

History: In Old Europe, sightings of a witch riding a broomstick in the night sky caused fear in a town. The townspeople contacted Inspector Koraz to hunt the witch. Koraz tracked the witch by finding evidence of magic rituals being performed in the forest. The nameless witch transformed herself into a beautiful woman to rest in the village until her powers strengthened. In the village, she heard of Koraz hunting for her, and fled to hide in a nearby cave. Koraz tracked the witch to the cave and took her to prison. He forced the woman to confess to him that she really was a witch. Koraz then revealed himself to be a warlock, and both flew off together on a broomstick.

Height: 6 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: Koraz could transform himself into a human law official, and could fly on a broomstick.

Comment: It is possible that the nameless witch could have been Amanda Dalton.

I remember this story with great fondness, especially its cliche'd but potent last line, “After all, it takes one to know one.” I'm always a sucker for a romantic ending.
