Meet... the Monster!

Mister Morgan’s Monster

History: In the year 2090, Phillip Morgan created the world's first humanoid robot. The robot was mass produced and made into a work force, but people found the robots to be potentially dangerous. Morgan destroyed all but one of the robots, which he kept hidden in a subterranean chamber and ordered it never to leave. Unknown to Morgan, he was spied upon by aliens; the aliens wanted to steal the robot and mass produce it to make an army to conquer Earth. After gassing the town with hypno-gas, the aliens tried to capture the robot, who resisted (remembering Morgan's orders not to leave) and was fatally damaged. As the townspeople revived, the aliens gave up their fight with the robot and blew up themselves and their ship to wipe out all evidence of their invasion attempt. With the townspeople never knowing how the robot stopped the invasion, Morgan's robot ceased to operate and “died”.

Height: 7 ft. 6 in.
Demonstrated Power: The robot was strong enough to break out of chains, and was shown resisting six aliens.

Can A Comment Save the World?!?

A sad story with a moral to it. In real life sometimes heroes are not recognized or appreciated.
Here the hero “died” without thanks and even being thought of as a bad guy.
This is a sad story. I would say the theme of blaming the good guy came up in
several of the stories mentioned on this page.
