The Changeling
History: Wanting to return to Earth, the ancestoral home of his people, John was told that the the people of Centaurius II had changed in all the generations since leaving Earth and were no longer suited to live there. Stealing a spaceship, John made the voyage to Earth. Viewing it from a distance, John saw how similar he was to Earth's inhabitants, but upon landing, he saw that he was only a fraction of the size of Earthlings.
Height: A fraction of an inch
Demonstrated Powers: The people of Centaurius II had an advanced technology and were very much like humans in appearance, the only difference being their microscopic size; no other special abilities were demonstrated.
Equipment: Spaceship (only 0.5 inches long)
Comment: Are John and the inhabitants of Centaurius II somehow related to the microscopic alien invaders known as The Goloks from the story “When the Earth Vanished!” in Tales of Suspense # 13 (art by Steve Ditko)
Comment: Speculation - It is possible that the people of Centaurius II were the result of an experiment of the Kree race to create a race of “micro-warriors” (the Kree once experimented on primitive humans to create an advanced race of soldiers, which resulted in The Inhumans )
Comment: This story is basically a redoing of the story “I Am the Scourge of Atlantis” in Strange Worlds # 2 (art by Dick Ayers), wherein an army of undersea Atlanteans attacks the surface, but they find that living under the pressures of the sea for generations has reduced them to microscopic size.
Comment: “The Changeling” is merely the title of this particular story; John and the inhabitants of Centaurius II have no known connection to The Changeling character introduced in X-Men # 35, nor with the character Ricardo Jones (who was referred to as “the Changeling” in one panel of Fantastic Four (vol. 1) # 51), nor with the animalistic group known as “the Changelings” seen in Incredible Hulk # 252, nor with the short story “The Changeling” (art by Steve Ditko) in Journey Into Mystery # 86, nor with the DC Comics character once know as Changeling.

Or, perhaps Centaurius II is a planet saturated in Pym particles, emanating from its white dwarf sun, similar to the one which illuminates the planet Imsk — no, wait, those last two references are from the wrong universe, never mind … .

…or maybe John was the first Micronaut to cross over from the Microverse years before Commander Rann and Co. made the voyage (I believe it was once mentioned in an issue of The Micronauts that the people of the Microverse shared a common ancestory with Earth).
