History: These Crab-Clawed Creatures were only comic book characters seen in “Journey Into Mystery” and “Strange Tales” comics and used by Reed Richards to frighten an invasion force of The Skrulls from Earth
Comment: It is possible that these Crab-Clawed Creatures were the creation of writer Charles Bentley (see X) or artist Frank Johnson while they worked for Marvel Comics.

Pretty stupid of the Skrulls to think that the comic book illustrations were photos! It's a classic Fantastic Four story, though. I have a reprint in a Marvel Masterworks book.
