The Creature From Krogarr
History: An inhabitant of the planet Krogarr invented a matter-transmitter device. The Krogarrian contacted Earth-man Joe Hanson through his television set and instructed him to reconfigure the circuitry of his TV into a receiver for the matter-transmitter. Stepping “out” of the television receiver, the creature from Krogarr grabbed Hanson and leapt back “into” the TV. Both were instantaneously transported to Krogarr where the creature wanted to use the Earth-man to show as proof that his transporter worked. The creature summoned his kinsmen but Hanson faded away and returned to Earth when his TV set lost power. When the other Krogarrians arrived, they saw no Earth-man, and apparently killed the creature in their anger for his “lie”.
Height: 9 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: Although it can be assumed by the Creature's size that he had great strength, he demonstrated no feats of strength to guage a strength level. The Creature demonstrated no other special powers.
Equipment: A hand-held matter-transmitter device that could transport beings through space. The transmitter needed to be used in conjunction with a powered receiver. The effect of the transmitter faded if power was cut off from the receiver, thus returning anything transported back to its home location.
Comment: The Krogarrians were shown to have a slave labor force, some members of which resembled The Skrulls. It is unknown if these workers were truly Skrulls.
Comment: The theme of this story (alien coming to Earth via television signal)
would later be seen on “The Outer Limits” TV series, episode The Galaxy Being, in 1963; a similarly themed movie, TerrorVision, was made in 1986.

Real fun tale, and a cool looking figure. How do you think culture is on Krogar with such macho looking intellectual figures? That slave race…Suppose these are escapees from the recent disasters, who fled through time, and ended up prisoners of Krogar? And that the er…Krogarians plan to replace them. It would be a chance to gauge their power, Krogar vs the thing?
