History: The Mad Martian was one of the characters created by artist Frank Johnson while he worked for Marvel Comics; Johnson would later create the “real life” monster Zzutak.

Height: The Mad Martian was drawn to look 30 feet tall.

Comment: Although the Mad Martian didn't “really” exist, it is possible that Johnson based his creation on rumors and reports of Zetora the Martian.
