The Monster Escapes
History: After collecting information on Earth for an invasion by his planet, the alien Monster crash-landed his spaceship. Eluding capture, the Monster went into hiding, thinking he could stay in hiding for months, not needing food or water to survive, just air. The Monster saw a newspaper headline about a rocket launch, and got the idea to steal a rocket to fly back to his home planet. He went to the rocket base and climbed aboard a rocket and locked himself inside. The “rocket” began to descend; the “rocket” was actually an airtight time-capsule. The Monster apparently suffocated.
Height: 10 ft.
Demonstrated Power: The Monster displayed no special powers. He was able to survive the crash of his spaceship with no injury. The Monster could survive for months without needing food or water, however he did need air, and was vulnerable to suffocation.

So… when's he coming back? I mean, his whole story is the perfect set-up for a surprise return.
Maybe he can come back and save Marvel!

im surprised john byrne has'nt said anything about this creature,i say he bears an uncanny resemblance to GORMUU the giant monster a pre-cosmic rays reed richards fought in FANTASTIC FOUR#271,so what if theyre powers do not seem similar,i still say they resemble each other………….any other gormuu-type monsters on this index,or in non-kirby stories?closest other creature i could find was RROMBU.
