The Ninth Wonder of the World
History: “Experiment 247” was a common snapping turtle that Dr. Parker fed a growth hormone tablet to five years previously. Trapped behind an immense wall on a tropical island, the giant turtle broke through the gate of the wall and chased Parker and two other men off the island. As the three men fled in a motor boat, they saw “Experiment XYZ”, a turtle that had escaped ten years previously after Parker gave it a growth hormone treatment; XYZ had grown to twice the size of Experiment 247, making it the true “Ninth Wonder of the World”.
Length: 60 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: Experiment 247 was powerful enough to smash through the wall that contained it, but had no special powers.
Comment: Speculation - It is possible that Dr. Parker's experiments were also responsible for creating Titano, since the giant lobster on the splash page shows that his growth treatments also work on crustaceans.
Comment: It is unknown if “Dr. Parker” is any relation to Spider-man/Peter Parker.
