Meet... the Monster!

The Robot Colossus

History: In the year 2020, Professor Reynolds completed the ultimate computer after 15 years of work. The world government, impressed with the computer's intelligence and ability to predict political and economic events through its calculations, made the computer the governing power of the Earth. For years, the computer fairly governed the world, making the Earth into a utopia. Eventually, the computer sensed it was getting old and would soon be beyond repair, so it secretly built a giant, mobile humanoid robot containing all of its knowledge to be its successor. In its first appearance, the giant robot was looked upon with fear and suspicion by mankind. The robot Colossus was destroyed by Professor Reynolds, who afterwards learned the computer's true intentions.

Height: 100 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: The robot Colossus was powerful enough to tunnel through solid rock. It had the vast knowledge and calculating power of the ultimate computer tranferred into its mobile form.

Comment: The robot “Colossus” should not confused with It the Living Colossus, nor with the hero, Colossus, introduced in Giant-Size X-Men # 1, nor with the giant alien, Colossus, who fought Giant-Man and the Wasp in Tales to Astonish # 58.
