The Thing Hunts For Me
History: Three years earlier, an unnamed old man was fishing and saw a flying saucer land. Two aliens emerged, and one planned to remain on Earth to spy. The alien saw the old man spying on him and pursued him, but the old man escaped capture. The alien hunted the old man for years, and finally found him living in a boarding house in a downtrodden neighborhood. Disguising itself as a young woman, the alien gained the old man's confidence. The old man died from a heart attack, and the alien departed.
Height: 7 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: The alien had membranous glider wings connecting its arms to its legs, allowing it to fly. It could mentally alter its appearance so others would see it as human. The alien had a strong dislike of water, avoiding any contact with it.
Equipment: Flying saucer
Comment: The Hunting Thing should not be confused with Haag, the Hunter of Helpless Humans from Tales of Suspense # 37.

That`s a nice splash page by Kirby from 'The Thing Hunts For Me' ! One of his better renditions of a ' Kirby Creature'. I faintly remember the story, it was rather unique.

Kind of looks like Grogg the Space-dragon had “his way” with a Skrulless!

I enjoyed this story in Where Monsters Dwell.
It had a nice ending.
