Meet... the Monster!

X-13

History: Inventor Jason Burke created a giant, monstrous robot in the basement of his sister's house. Calling the robot “X-13”, Burke wanted to demonstrate its capabilities, but people were too frightened by X-13's fearsome appearance. Because of public concerns, government officials outlawed the robot. One day, X-13 went on a rampage in the town, causing panic and destruction. X-13 went to a missle base and launched himself in a rocket. A self-destruct mechanism in the rocket was activated at the missle base, causing the rocket to explode over the sea. The indestructible X-13 plummetted into the sea. Burke later found a note written by X-13. In the note, X-13 told his creator how he realized that mankind feared him, so he would pretend to run amok and steal a rocket. After the world thought him destroyed, X-13 would wait at the bottom of the sea until humanity learned tolerance and understanding and trust, then X-13 would return. Burke realized that X-13 was not immune to rust, that rust might throw off his delicate mechanisms, then X-13 REALLY would run amok.

Height: 20 ft.
Demonstrated Powers: X-13 had great strength and could lift a car. X-13 had great calculating intelligence and had a will of his own. X-13 was invulnerable to explosions, but his internal mechanisms were not immune to rust.

Comment: It is unknown if “X-13” has any connection with X-51 aka Machine Man.

Comment: There is no apparent connection between “X-13” and “The X-Men”.
