Johnny's solo adventures continue as he investigates an area in a developing sub-division where the houses are sinking into the ground with no apparent explanation. The area turns out to be a portal to the 5th dimension. Johnny's captured by an evil dictator known as Xemu, but is aided by a sympathetic girl who secretly hates Xemu and after regaining his powers, defeats Xemu and returns to earth.The adventure also causes him to fall behind in his studies. He has take the razzing by his teacher because he can't very well tell the guy the real reason he's fallen behind is because he was trapped in the fifth dimension. A humorous end to this particular story.

Dear Editor,
The sympathetic girl later was visited by Johnny Storm.
He went back for her the same way Gene Kelly went back to Brigadoon, all be it a few years later in Johnny's case..
