Dear Editor,
I have to say this was a great character. He was a symbol of freedom during the cold war, perverted by the communists to stand for the opposite of what the sculptor wanted Colossus to stand for.
The aliens taking him over was great. The series he was in for awhile in the 1970s was great. I loved the fight against Fin Fang Foom. I loved the concept of the '70s series with the actor who could control Colossus as the aliens had.
I hope Colossus comes back in a series updating the characters from the 1970s, and as a good guy fighting other monsters.
Take Care,
Bob T.

There was also an appearance by the Colossus in a Beast/Wonder Man mini-series a little while back.

This was also an experiment with longer stories. The last page has this notice:
“IMPORTANT NOTE:Dear Reader, Do you perfer full-length stories such as this one? Would you like to see more such epics? Write “Editor” JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY, 655 Madison Ave, NYC 1, NY” l
It seems that Stan was attempting to break out of a pattern, which he did for a time, although stories would go back to the shorter length after a while.

Dear Editor,
Whatever became of the man in the wheel chair who could enter Colossus' body at will?
Did he ever marry that lady who was in love with him?
