Could it be that the Spaceship in the story “One of our Spacemen is missing” landed on Planet X? And the strange tree creatures are related to the tree creature Groot from Tales to Astonish 13? A pre-hero crossover! Wow….

Wait! What's that in Tales of Suspense 19? “The Green Thing”? Oh No! Another Tree monster, they're everywhere………….

Tales of Suspense 26. “The thing that crawled by night”. Another day, another tree creature. Will the maddness ever stop?????????

Personally, Phil, I have a soft spot in my heart for Tree Creatures!

When I was a kid, I saw this comic book on the rack, but my mom thought the cover was too scary for a young boy. Well, I own a copy of that great comic book today, and I think the cover art is really cool. I showed it to my mom a few days ago, and she laughed at her reaction to it when I was a kid. Next to WORLD OF FANTASY #18, featuring XOM, this is my favorite comic book cover.
