The “Luna Lizards” is retold in Journey Into Mystery #78 by Ditko in one of my favorite pre-hero stories “The Monsters on Mercury”.

I first read it in Fantasy Masterpieces #7 and fell in love with these fantasy stories!

Check out page 2, panels 4 and 6: 250,000 miles from Earth, the colonists are in a pressure dome on the airless surface of the moon, and you've got guys smoking cigarettes, stogies, and pipes! Sure hope they had a good air filteration system!
