One of the rare times that the cover image was taken from the splash page, meaning either there was no original cover or it was rejected by Lee or Martin Goodman for some reason.

The Abominable Snowman is a grand example of what made these comics so much fun. Who but Stan and Jack would take the tired old yeti premise and stand it on its head with an inspired and wacky take like this? The Snowman's secret is that he's from a race of subterranean lizard folks and his fur is really an XXXXXXLparka! The story does what a comic book story should do; it keeps you turning the pages. And the final twist at the end is a nice turnaround.
