How's this for a premise for a line of books. “What if Hank Pym stayed in the Ant Hill and Tim Boo Ba became an Avenger”. “What if Hank Pym stayed inthe Ant Hill and Fin Fang Foom became and Avenger”. “What if Hank Pym stayed in the Ant Hill and Dr. Droom became and Avenger”. And so forth…

What a classic issue of the early TTA series. I own a copy of this comic book, but unfortunately, it has some printing errors. The comic book was stapled together at the factory without the first wraparound, so the 1st & 2nd page of the main story are missing, as well as 2 add pages in the back. Since it was incorrectly put together at the factory, the comic book was heavily blunted at the bottom right corner, so that it wouldn't get mixed up with the good copies & end up for sale to the public. Otherwise, the book is a solid VG/VG+. Even though my copy can only be graded in poor condition, due to the missing pages, it's still a cool example of an early key issue in the TTA series, and a good example of how comic books with defects at the factory were handled. I still enjoy the book, and I will definitely keep it for a long time.

Dear Editor,
It is alleged that this story was to be a one shot appearence.
Mr. Dick Ayers liked the charactor and suggested that Marvel
keep him going. Several readers wrote in and said they liked him as well.
As a result of popular aclimation Ant Man was born.
